I like to have my laptop encrypted in case I loose it or it get's stolen. This way I don't need to worry about the data I have stored on it. Since I'm having an SSD in my laptop it's necessary that I change some configs to have it supporting TRIM. TRIM is needed to have the SSD functioning correctly...
I tried to configure the mail service postfix according to the official Proxmox VE wiki. After many hours I gave up and started to look for another solution. I then found a post on howtogeek.com on getting emails working with ssmtp. It's quite easy to setup and worked very well for me.
First we need to add the HP repositories
This are the Debian Jessie repositories from HP which contain the utilities to manage the raid controller e200i.
Paste this into /etc/apt/sourcelist
deb http://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/repo/mcp jessie/current non-free
